The ongoing 7th edition of the U-13 JOF Kids Cup Tournament will reach its quarter-final stage this weekend, with matches scheduled to be played on Easter Sunday.
According to the organiser, Lagos State Grassroots Football Association, eight teams qualified for this stage after the conclusion of the Round of 16 games last weekend at both Ojo Oniyun centre and the Lekki playground centres in Lagos.
The following teams are awaiting their pairings ahead of the quarter-final duels, which followers of the grassroots football tournament believe will be clashes of the titans.
Soccer City Football Academy from Iwaya, Latoyen Football Academy from Aguda, VI Foot of Ijora, First Class from Lagos Island and Strong Dove FC.
Other quarter final teams are Ultimate Football Academy from Coker, Smart Striker from Ogun state and Fortune Football Academy from Oshodi.
U-13 JOF Kids Cup Tournament is a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative of the sponsor company, JOF Nigeria Limited, a wholly indigenous manufacturing and supply chain services organisation, which took special interest in the development of talents of the Nigerian youths.
